BabyHawk Mei Tai Baby Infant Sling Carrier - Strap Colors:            Mei Tai's (Asian Baby Carriers) are adopted from a Chinese-inspired idea that makes holding your little one on your front, back or hip as safe, as it is comfortable. The weight distribution of our MT's makes wearing you baby more cozy and delightful than you can imagine for longer than you can imagine!   The design is simple to let you strap on or take off your custom Mei Tai quick and easy.   BabyHawk Mei Tai's are comfortable, sure, but they are above all safe and reliable.   First off all the fabrics we use are pre-washed and thrown into the dryer to prevent shrinkage. The straps are 70-72 inches long and 3 3/4 inches wide. The bottom strap is one continuous piece of fabric, which offers the most durable and safest support for your baby.   The body measures 16.5" by 18.5" for the regular.   The top straps are padded as well as the headrest to offer the most comfortable walk for mom and a safe, smooth ride for baby.   What is the weight limit of the carrier?   You can wear your child from newborn to 40 lbs, or as long as you can comfortably carry them.   Will The Babyhawk Mei Tai Fit Me?   The BabyHawk Mei Tai can fit up to a women's size 22/24 or a men's XXL.   How wide are the BabyHawk Mei Tai straps and are they padded?   The straps are 3 3/4 inches wide and the straps are lightly padded to give you enough cushion for a long comfortable ride!   Can you wear a newborn in a BabyHawk Mei Tai?   Yes, you can wear a newborn in a BabyHawk Mei Tai! Some babies in fact prefer the mei tai over a sling or pouch. You are also able to breastfeed discreetly in a Mei Tai as well!   How do I wash my BabyHawk?   You can wash your BabyHawk on cold with just a little detergent (try putting it in a large lingerie bag or pillowcase to avoid it getting wrapped around the agitator or the straps all twisted) and then line dry. You CAN machine dry but your colors will stay brighter and more vibrant if you line dry. It is always a good idea when washing your carrier for the first time to include a dye catcher sheet with dark colors to catch any excess dye that may be present.
