Seed Organic POD - The POD is built with a natural latex mattress, a soft organic cotton liner and beautifully woven natural maize moses basket, all held securely inside the wonderfully crafted curved stand, the POD is the best start in life you can give your baby! With the added flexibility of removing the basket from the stand, you can take your baby’s bed wherever you go!  With a weight of 9kg, and a mattress size of 80cm x 35cm, this is a ‘cradle size’ sleeping environment. Certified Organic Cotton Liner Organic cotton is a term used to describe cotton that is free from chemicals.  The cotton seeds are GM (generally modified) free and throughout the growing process cotton has not been sprayed with herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.  In finishing the cotton all dyes used are free from heavy metals such as lead. Our Organic Cotton is certified to International Standards and is softer, smells better, and is stronger than chemically treated cotton.  It’s also hypoallergenic, breathable, and provides a more natural, safer environment for your baby. The mattress is made of latex and has a "Breather Hole" design.  Latex is a 100% natural organic product derived from the milk sap of the Hevea Brasillensis (Rubber Tree).  It is hypoallergenic, anti-microbial. (does not grow bacteria or mould)  It will contour to the shape of our baby's body building up no pressure points and is a breathable open cell structure for better air circulation, making it a far superior mattress for your baby.  The base has a strong "Breather" designed.  Our mattress base has been cleverly designed with large breather holes.  This allows air to move freely throughout the POD and ensures that your baby has the best air circulation possible.  The strong breather base also ensures that your baby will have a safe, firm sleep environment at all times throughout the life of the POD.  Maintaining a horizontal mattress with good air circulation is a must when providing a safe sleeping environment for our baby.  The POD moses basket is made from a soft, natural maize.  The basket size we use is what makes the POD so special.  Our Basket provides the extra space for your baby.  The recommended use for all baskets is until the child can sit up, roll over or pull himself up.  However most babies out grow the standard size baskets before they reach this stage.  But the POD provides this extra room, therefore making this investment well worth it!  And with the portability of the basket, it’s great for those weekends away.
