My sister in law had a toy just like this for her first child, she described it to me as the one thing she wish she would have kept out of all his toys. It is so much fun for the kids. My daughter learned to pound in the balls (with her hand only) when she was about 8 months old, she loved it and still uses it. It is very well made and sturdy. This is a go to toy for us to bring back and forth to the cabin.
