Cat's First Baby Board Book

A funny, heartwarming board book for toddlers and cat-loving families about the excitement — and confusion — of welcoming a new baby home.

Cat knows something strange is happening. There’s a new creature in the house, but it doesn’t meow, chase toys, or even have a tail. So what exactly is this loud, wiggly little thing?

In this delightful read for children and parents alike, author and illustrator Natalie Nelson captures the wonder, curiosity, and humor of bringing home a new baby through the eyes of a lovable family cat. With charming illustrations and playful read-aloud text, this delightful board book turns a major family transition into a sweet and funny adventure both kids and adults will enjoy.
